Botox, Injectables and Fillers
Sculptra Collagen Stimulator
Sculptra® works by helping to replenish collagen in the body. Collagen is a naturally occurring substance in the body which is responsible for providing the skin’s youthful glow and radiance. Over time, collagen production slows down resulting in the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and volume loss. In comparison to traditional hyaluronic acid fillers which are used to fill specific parts of the face, Sculptra® addresses volume loss from deep fat throughout the face. Sculptra® works by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production, providing an overall refreshed appearance with long-lasting results (approximately 2-4 years).
Sculptra® will provide you with a natural rejuvenated effect without surgery and can be used to help stimulate collagen production in the face, back of the hands, upper inner arms, and inner thighs. Schedule your consultation today to achieve a more youthful appearance with no downtime.

Sculptra® Treatment Details
How often should I receive Sculptra® treatment?
Sculptra treatments are performed in a series of 3 treatments, spaced 1 month apart. Each treatment builds on the success of the previous treatment, and results improve gradually over time. Sculptra® results can last up to 2-4 years in the majority of patients. Some patients may wish to do maintenance treatments once a year to improve the production of collagen. As the body continues to build collagen, patients who receive Sculptra injections will notice that fewer treatments are necessary over time.

- Sub-malar area (under the cheekbone that hollows over time)
- Cheekbones
- Temples
- Jawline
- Chin
- Inner thighs
- Upper inner arms

Sculptra Treatment Experience
What To Expect During a Sculptra Procedure
Sculptra is injected by our Board-Certified Dermatologist with a small needle under the skin in areas where volume has diminished due to fat and collagen loss. Typically, the best areas to treat with Sculptra are the cheeks, under the cheeks (sub-malar), and temples. Sculptra is also effective for treating the crepey skin that develops in the upper inner arms and inner thighs. The Sculptra solution contains a small amount of lidocaine which will provide patients with a numbing effect as the injections are performed. Since the results are semi-permanent, this advanced technique should only be performed by trained physicians, such as our Double Board-Certified Dermatologist Dr. Kristy Bailey.
Before the procedure – A cosmetic consultation will be done with our team of skin experts to determine if Sculptra injections are the right option for you. A careful analysis of your face will be performed, and the appropriate treatment will be determined.
During the procedure – The treatment area will be thoroughly disinfected and carefully mapped out by Dr. Bailey. Sculptra is injected with small needles beneath the skin where volume loss and crepey skin is occurring. The solution contains a small amount of lidocaine which provides a numbing effect to decrease any mild discomfort during the procedure.
After the procedure – After the Sculptra procedure, patients must massage the treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 5 days. This will result in the proper integration of the product into the skin for smooth and even results. The results from Sculptra are seen over time, as the body continues to build collagen.

Sculptra® works by stimulating collagen production in the skin. When injected, Sculptra® triggers the body's natural collagen-building process, leading to gradual volume restoration and improvement in skin texture and elasticity over several months.
Sculptra® is commonly used to treat volume loss in the cheeks and temples, deep folds and wrinkles, and overall facial contouring. It can also be used to enhance the appearance of the buttocks (known as Sculptra® Butt Lift) and correct certain types of cellulite.
