Platelet Rich Plasma Under-Eye Treatment for Fine lines and Crepey Skin
The Platelet Rich Plasma or Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRP or PRF) treatment is a natural, non-surgical treatment for fine lines and crepey skin under the eyes. The PRP/PRF treatment is a novel technique that allows the isolation and use of growth factors present in your own blood to enhance, accelerate, and stimulate cell regeneration. Injection of plasma, rich in growth factors, will stimulate the stem cells under the eyes to produce new collagen allowing the under eyes to regain lost elasticity and plumpness.
Clear away fine lines and crepey skin with this revolutionary treatment only done by FCP’s Double Board-Certified Dermatologist.

PRP Under Eye Treatment Indications
Fine Lines Under Eyes
PRP can be used to address the appearance of fine lines under eyes that cannot be addressed with Botox/Filler. PRP can help stimulate collagen production, improve skin thickness, and improve the little fine lines under the eyes.
Smile Wrinkles
PRP treatment can also be beneficial for individuals wiht stubborn lines around the mouth. The growth factors in PRP can help improve blood circulation and enhance skin quality improving overall skin texture in this area.
Face Wrinkles
PRP injections help stimulate collagen and elastin production, which may reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This treatment can help improve the skin’s texture and smooth out any creases, leading to a more youthful and refreshed look.
PRP/PRF Treatment Benefits
Platelet Rich Plasma Under-Eye Treatment
After extracting a small volume of blood from the patient’s arm, it is centrifuged, and the platelet-rich portion of the blood is extracted: a “powerhouse” of growth factors. PRP/PRF must be done with a closed system and technique. The mechanically closed system prevents environmental contaminants from transferring to the product and/or device, as well as the accidental release of PRP/PRF outside of it. The PRP/PRF is then extracted into separate syringes. The plasma is injected underneath the eyes with a cannula, depositing the PRP/PRF evenly into the under-eye area. This technique is similar to that of under-eye filler, using plasma instead of filler. It should be noted that PRP/PRF treats fine lines and crepey skin while dermal filler treats hollows under the eyes.
Repairs the weakening collagen and elastin in the skin.
Regain the lost elasticity and plumpness under the eyes.
Minimally invasive procedure with proven results.
Natural procedure using your own growth factors from your blood.

Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment Experience
What to expect during a Platelet Rich Plasma under-eye treatment
At FCP Dermatology, we recommend PRP/PRF under-eye treatments to be performed in conjunction with the vampire facial to maximize the potential of the patient’s plasma in one session. We recommend a minimum of 3 treatments, spaced one month apart. Patients looking to achieve more dramatic results are advised to do a series of 6 treatments, one month apart.
Before the treatment – Attend your appointment well-hydrated to maximize the quantity of plasma extracted from the blood.
During the treatment – Your blood will be drawn and then spun with our state-of-the-art centrifuge technology. Once the plasma has been separated from the red blood cells, it will be extracted into syringes for injection. The PRP/PRF is then injected into the under-eye area using a cannula, which is a blunt-ended needle allowing for minimal discomfort and bruising.
After the treatment – Avoid anti-inflammatory drugs or blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and Advil for 24 hours. The PRP/PRF is a fluid injected under the eyes, which may appear puffy immediately after the procedure. This mild swelling will subside in less than 24 hours, and patients can return to their daily activities the next day.
