Eyelash Growth Treatment
Latisse Eyelash Growth Serum
Latisse was first discovered in glaucoma patients, which were treated with a liquid compound called bimatoprost and were seen to have significant eyelash growth. This ingredient was then used as a cosmetic treatment which increases the number of eyelash hairs that are produced. Latisse stimulates the growth of darker, thicker, and longer eyelashes with daily use.

Eyelash Growth Treatment Details
Latisse Eyelash Enhancement Serum
Latisse is quite easy to use and can be applied in the comfort of your own home. Every night, remove your makeup, remove your contact lenses, and wash your face. Apply one drop of the Latisse serum to the single-use sterile applicator. Glide the serum across the base of the upper eyelashes, like the application of eyeliner. Make sure to remove any excess solution and repeat the process on both eyes.
Discard of the sterile applicator after each use, as reusing the applicator can lead to infection or allergic reactions. Latisse should not be applied to the lower lash line, as this poses a higher risk of entering the eye.
Cleanse hands thoroughly after use, and make sure to wait until the solution is dry to insert contact lenses. After 1 month, lashes will be noticeably longer, darker, and thicker. Once the desired length is reached, patients can begin to use the serum every other night to maintain the length of their lashes.
Eyelash Growth Treatment Procedure
Can Latisse Eyelash Growth Serum change my eye colour?
In extremely rare cases, Latisse can cause spots of pigmentation in patients with light-coloured eyes. This is why it is important to be evaluated by an experienced Dermatologist prior to use.
Latisse is recommended for continuous use, as discontinued use may cause the eyelashes to return to their regular state.
Latisse can be purchased at FCP Dermatology under the supervision and recommendation of our Double Board-Certified Dermatologist. If you are looking to improve your appearance by growing longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes then Latisse is the solution you are looking for!
